
20th January 2005 - Missing Dog - Owners Appeal for Help
Tara the Staffordshire Bull Terrier was snatched from her kennel in Holyoake Place in November this year and despite every effort to find her the owners are still without their beloved dog. They are now appealing for information from the public that may help them get Tara back. Tara is white with black markings, microchipped and is four years old.She has black dappling on her coat, a small cyst on her back and has small warts around hr eyes. Her owner, Mrs Jaquie Little fears she may have been stolen for breeding and is frightened of what may become of Tara once she is no use to the theives. Rugeley is welcoming a new generation of computer users thanks to Age Concern and their Computer Explorer single decker bus. Residents at the Penny Bank Court retirement scheme are attending training sessions every Wednesday . New powers given to the police to 'move on' groups of teenagers from local trouble spots are helping combat the problem of anti social behaviour by youths. Nov 22nd 2004 - Bungling Thieves Attempt To Rob Forecourt
At 4.15pm two men in a green Vauxhall car attempted to rob a female security guard when she collected a large sum of money from the Total Garage at Brereton. Theives were left red-handed when the security dye pack exploded rendering the money useless. A large sum of money was found in the cash box further along from the Wishing Well Service Station where the theives abandoned the vehicle. |
